Welcome to Morocco. Transfer from Mohamed five airport to your accommodation Casablanca city center.
Will we collect you from your hotel in Casablanca to visit the Hassan II Mosque before departing to Rabat. In Rabat you can visit to the Mechouar of the Royal Palace, the ruins of Chellah, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. Overnight in your accommodation in Rabat.
After breakfast in your hotel you can start the raod to Chefcahouen, for to get there in the mid-day for exploring the medina of Chefcahouen. A beautiful unique city with its white washed walls and its blue doors and windows. Unlike many parts of Morocco, this city was occupied by Spain and the influences of Spanish civilisation and architecture are all around. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet locals and walk in this beautiful Medina. Overnight in our Hotel.
After breakfast We will then depart via Volubilis, the Roman ruins and Moulay Idriss, the holy town. Then Meknas we will take a tour of the Medina including El Hdim square, Bab El Mansour, the massive gate which is the entrance to the old city and the Jewish quarter, the Royal Granaries & the city rampart. Night in your accommodation.
In Fes you will have a guided tour to discover the the medina and the famous Souks of Fes – its narrow-cobbled streets are filled with ancient mosques and towering green-glazed minarets... You will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Fes. The tour will include a visit to the tannery and the ceramics cooperative to see the traditional Moroccan crafts. Then raod to Midelt through the Middle Atlas region. We will drive through Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou where we can stop to hand feed the monkeys. Overnight in your accommodation.
After breakfast we will depart for Merzouga We will then follow the Ziz River through the valley and stop to see the Ziz Gorges on our way to Merzouga. Arrival at the hotel around 3 pm to start the caravan with camels, to watch the sunset over the dunes. We will pass the night in a wild oasis 2-hour walk in the desert. On arrival you well drink delicious mint tea, listen to traditional Berber music while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara Desert. Dinner and night in tent.
Breakfast in the riad, we start on the road to the desert through the two oases of Merzouga, the nomadic family, village Khamlia (village of black peoples), mines Mifiss, meeting the nomadic Berbers in the desert, Tissardmine oasis. Arrival at the hotel, time to relax and to watch the Magic sunset over the dunes. Dinner and night in accommodation.
Discover the desert region and its isolated oases. Travelling East along the Erg Chebbi we leave the desert stopping by Rissani, the first Alawi city and a major centre of commerce. Visit to the town’s palm grove and its ancient Kasbahs, its enormous souk and the Ziz valley, a fossil quarry, we continue to wards the Todra Gorges. lunch in the Todra Gorges then Boulmane Dades. Arrive Klaa Mgouna known for its great rose valley and the production of rose water. Drive to the road of the thousand Kasbahs to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
After breakfast, before heading for Taroudante, you’ll stop at the Kasbah Taourirt. Then the famous kasbah of Ait Ben-haddou the Unesco site, where many movies filmed the main ones, Lawrence of Arabia, Tea in The Sahara and Gladiator. We will continue with a visit to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Taznakhte knownded by the kelim carpet then Taleouin the city of Safran where we have lunche in a local restaurant in before descending to Taroudante.
Departure after breakfast in your hotel exploring the smal Marrakech of Taroudante, then raod to Agadir, for to get there in the mid-day for explore the city by Agadir Oufla. The you well have a short wolk in the beach then raod to Essaouira passing the bereber. Dinner and breakfast in your hotel.
Half day free to the former Mogador this port city (50 000 inhabitants) old fishing port, built on a peninsula swept by the winds from the ocean, Essaouira is located in the walls of the old city in several areas, high La Scala, you have a beautiful view while admiring the bronze cannons were melted in Spain. It is characterized by its craftsmanship, in fact, some trawlers in the traditional (teak and eucalyptus wood working (cedar) with copper inlaid ebony beautiful lemon and son silver or pearl. Visit the Medina of Essaouira (Mogador): A unique Medina expands within the peaceful walls built in the 18th century: right-angled wide roads, lined with squat arcades open up on the souks. Lunch then road to Marrakech.
You will have a guided tour to discover the multiple facets of Marrakech with a stroll in the labyrinth of the narrow streets of the Medina amongst its famous Souks and a visit to the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Marrakech.
Morning drive to the beautiful valley, Ourika is very rich landscape at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, Berber villages picturesque mud clung to the mountain. In summer, there is a fresh contrast with the heat of Marrakech and winter panorama of snowy peaks of the Atlas offers a magical look. Ourika is a beautiful place where the silence is broken only by the chirping of birds and the murmur of streams. Ourika is famous for pottery and minerals (crystals and Amitest). The Berber traditionnal souk is held on Mondays. Lunch at restaurant or berber house. Then a walking tour in the valley to The Famous Waterfalls of Sti Fatma and in the afternoon return to Marrakech.
We will spend the morning at leisure for shopping or relaxing in Marrakech before leaving midafternoon to arrive in Casablanca by 4pm (or if you have a departing flight or want to spend time in Casablanca we can leave Marrakech at your convenience). End of the trip…
