Our early morning flights take off from the palm groves of Marrakech, offering a truly unique perspective on the city and its surroundings. You'll soar over miles of golden desert, snow-capped mountains and picturesque Berber villages nestled amongst the rugged terrain. As the sun rises, you'll see the world awakening below you as you drift peacefully above it all. Our experienced pilots will guide you safely through the skies and provide commentary on the history, culture and geography of the area.
Your balloon experience, step by step
Pre-dawn pick up
Our driver picks you up from your accommodation in Marrakech before sunrise, usually around 5:30–6:00 AM depending on the season. Transfer to the launch site in the palm groves.
Balloon inflation & briefing
Watch the balloon inflate as your pilot briefs you on safety procedures and what to expect during the flight. A magical spectacle in itself.
Flight at sunrise
Lift off and soar over the palm groves, Atlas Mountains and Berber villages as the sun rises over Morocco. Your experienced and licensed pilot narrates the journey below — approximately 60–90 minutes in the air.
Landing & celebration
After a gentle landing, celebrate your flight with the traditional Moroccan welcome. Your certificate of flight is presented to mark the occasion.
Return transfer
Transfer back to your accommodation in Marrakech, usually arriving back in the late morning — leaving the rest of your day free.
